Dr John O’Malley

| John graduated Canterbury University in 1980 with a B.Sc. He then moved to Melbourne where he attended Phillip Institute of Technology (Now part of RMIT University), completing his Chiropractic degree in 1986. On graduation John worked for La Trobe Uiversity as Head of College for Chisholm College, a residential college (Hall of Residence) of the University. During this time he was a part-time clinicial tutor at Phillip Institute of Technology (1989 to 1991) and commenced his Doctoral studies. In 1994 John returned to Christchurch, working in a group practice specialising in Applied Kinesiology. He worked there for nine years during which time he completed his Ph.D. In October 2003 John opened Alpha Omega Health Care. Between 1999 and 2002 John was also an examiner with the New Zealand Chiropractic Board, and is currently a member of the Board and a guest lecturer at both the University of Canterbury and the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. John is a published chiropractic researcher/academic and regularly gives conference papers. |

Samantha McSorley originally from Scotland and moved to New Zealand in 1999 to embrace her career in Complementary Medicine.
She is a degree qualified Medical Herbalist with 12 years diligence in the Complementary and Alternative Medicine practice during which she has worked in various capacities including nationwide consultation with allied health professionals, conference presentations at health seminars as well as lecturinng.
Imparting knowledge and learning is a passion of Sam’s whereby she is committed to the field of nutritional and herbal therapeutics in supporting and maintaining your good health. She believes the use of nutrition as a restorative tool has phenomenal potential in medicine and must not be underestimated; the food you eat today is who you are tomorrow.
